Graffiti, West Virginia's well-known alternative newspaper, is being purchased by Wheeling-based Ogden Newspapers.
Editor and Publisher Michael Lipton, a former Calhoun resident, says he has mixed emotions about the deal,
Lipton said he and the other two publishers, Larry Groce and Frank Venezia, kept the paper going "long after common and financial sense said to throw in the towel."
Graffiti has been in operation for about 15 years with about 30-thousand readers statewide.
