Pam Davis said the town is trying to make access to the office a little easier
Bonnie Bird says new quarters are very comfortable
Grantsville's town office has moved into the old jail building, an annex to the Calhoun County Courthouse.
Town employees and volunteers helped with the move this past weekend, following an application of new carpet and painting the office. Cleston Nichols made a new counter and town council member JoAnn Stevens made drapes.
Longtime town employee Bonnie Bird, said the new office is very comfortable. Employee Pam Davis said the town is working toward providing easier access to the building for citizens.
The building also houses the office of Chief of Police Ron Gordon. |
