Published Dec. 1, 2004 - A boil water advisory has been issued (Dec. 1) for the Yellow Creek Road area of the Pleasant Hill PSD by the WV Bureau for Public Health in Charleston.
The water problem is reportedly related to the presence of fecal coliform present in the new system, with "inadequate disinfectant."
The Bureau took samples of the system last week.
Official J. D. Douglas said he is returning to Yellow Creek today to take a second round of samples.
Customers should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute for drinking, cooking and brushing teeth.
The boil advisory is in effect until further notice. |
