South Charleston's Dow Chemical is offering transfers to about 70 research and development jobs at their technology park to other facilities they own.
The highly skilled professionals will lose their jobs if they decline to transfer.
The 70 job loss is added to 160 other positions eliminated in August by the company in Kanawha County.
It affects several research groups including chemical sciences, specialty chemicals, material sciences and analytical sciences.
