There will be a Holiday Open House Saturday, November 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at The Feathered Nest
672 Court Street, Elizabeth, West Virginia.
 Gift Baskets, Primitives, Antiques and more will be available. There will be door prizes, refreshments provided and pottery demonstrations by Duffield Pottery.
Duffield Pottery is owned and operated by Dwayne and JoAnn Duffield of Palestine, WV. Duffield Pottery handcrafts each piece of stoneware pottery on the potter's wheel.
The pottery is lead-free, oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
The Duffield's 15-year old son Dylan is currently apprenticing under his parents. Dylan has created Traditions -- a separate line of pottery featuring a stars and stitches motif.
Both Dylan and his father plan to set up their potter's wheels at the Feathered Nest to demonstrate how Duffield Pottery is made.
They will be on hand all day during the open house to discuss the forms and techniques used in creating their line of pottery and to answer questions.
