Geneva Robinson Lawson, 88, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, died peacefully November 16, 2004 at the home of her daughter.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Gray and Hollie Bailey Robinson. She was a life long homemaker and mother of five children and was a member of the Rosedale United Methodist Church at Rosedale.
Mrs. Lawson lived a long and happy life doing all the things she loved, traveling to various sites all over the United States, raising her beautiful flowers and enjoying all the beauty that nature had to offer.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Laughlin of Arnoldsburg and Alma Brady of Shock; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Lawson and three sons, Lennis Alva and Hoyt Ben Lawson and a grandson, Samuel Gray Lawson.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday November 20 at the Rosedale UM Church. Rev. Alva Loyd and Rev. Denzil Lawson will officiate. Interment will be in the Lawson Cemetery on Spruce Fork of Frozen Run, Nicut.
