Community servant "Big Al" Hogan of Munday has come through throat cancer surgery in a Maryland Hospital. The surgery has reportedly not caused problems with his speech.
Hogan, founder of Helping Hands Crisis Ministries, has touched the lives of area residents in their time of need. Hogan's friends recently held a big fundraiser. He is expected to return home this week to continue his recovery.
