Another West Virginia soldier has been killed in Iraq.
Lance Corporal Bradley L. Parker of Marion, Preston County has died "as a result of enemy action" in Al Anbar Province.
The 19-year-old Marine was a member of the First Battalion, Eighth Marine Regiment, Second Marine Division, Second Marine Expeditionary Force based at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
Parker joined the Marine Corps in June 2003, had received the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He has also been recommended for a Purple Heart.
Parker is the third Marine with West Virginia ties to be killed in Iraq in the past few weeks.
