| Nellie Godfrey, 78 of Grantsville, died May 5th. in St. Joseph Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Ann Bell Kerby.
Surviving are a daughter, Wilma Godfrey of Grantsville and two sons, Pete Faye Godfrey of
Grantsville and Roy Lee Godfrey of Mt. Zion, WV, a brother, Bernard Kerby of Grantsville and a
sister, Maude Sampson of Grantsville.
Mrs. Godfrey was preceded in death by three sons, Bobby, Junior and Dolan Godfrey, two
sisters, Delila Sampson and Olphia Taylor, three brothers, Joe, William and Roscoe Kerby.
The body was cremated. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville was in charge of arrangements. |
