It was obvious Irvin and Kathryn Parks Walker of Big Bend were having a good time Saturday. Family and friends filled the Grantsville senior center to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married November 6, 1954 by the Rev. Bud Graham.
They are the parents of three children, Mark and Denny of Big Bend, and David, deceased. They have three grandchildren, Sarah Doak of Pennsboro, Jake and Katie of Big Bend. Irvin is the son of Carl and Olga Meadows (Ferrell) Walker. Kathryn is the daughter Oren and Maxine Parks.
