A seminar entitled, "Going Into Business In WV", will presented by the WVU Parkersburg Small Business Development Center in partnership with the Little Kanawha Area Development Corp. and the Ritchie County Development Authority on Wednesday afternoon, November 17 from 1 to 3 pm at the WVU Parkersburg, Room 100A BIDS Building in Parkersburg.
The intention of the training is to give an overview of what it takes to run and own a business. This would include the legal issues involved, what licensing is required, what taxes need to be paid, what records need to be kept, what insurance coverage you need, etc.
Each attendee will leave this seminar with a full understanding of what is going to be expected of them to get a business started in WV and what requirements are put on them personally to run the business and make it successful.
