| Osva O. Elmore McGlothlin, 90, of Tariff, Roane County, departed this life on October 18, 2004, at Webb's Tender Care, Spencer.
She was born November 4, 1913, at Tariff, a daughter of the late Anah J. and Millie Helmic Elmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. McGlothlin; one sister, Avis Roe; nine brothers, Darius, Glen, Clive, Donald, Willie, Clarence, Brooks, Howard and Doyle Elmore.
Mrs. McGlothlin was a homemaker, long time member of the Henry's Fork Baptist Church, Tariff and Past President of the Women's Missionary Society.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy McGlothlin Vineyard and David of Tariff, Betty McGlothlin Pittman and William of Hanover, VA; six grandchildren, David Vineyard, II, Deidre V. Coon, Traci Lesher, Daniel Pittman, Julie Pittman and William Pittman, Jr.; five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Wayne McGlothlin officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until 2:00 p.m. Thursday.
