Two Roane County men were arrested on drug
charges early Wednesday morning.
State Police have charged a Pink Road man and his
son on multiple counts of possession with intent to
deliver methamphetamine.
Jackie Lee Hardway, 60, who lives just across the
Calhoun-Roane line in Roane County, has been
charged with four counts of possession with intent
to deliver methamphetamine.
His son, Leonard Hardway, 32, (not the Leonard
Hardway who resides at Mt. Zion) was charged with
three counts.
State Police went to the Hardway residence near
Henry's Fork, concluding what they said was a five
month undercover investigation.
Agents reportedly made several meth buys from
Hardway and his son during August, where the
Hardway's allegedly sold the illegal drug at $150 per
transaction.
Both men went taken to Central Regional Jail.
Bond for Jackie Lee Hardway has been set at
$100,000 and bond for Leonard Hardway has been
set at $75,000.
A preliminary hearing has been set for October 20 in
Spencer.
