Tommy Young, Sr., the latest shooting victim on Clay's Murder Mountain is still a patient in a Charleston hospital, while the whereabouts of his alleged shooter Richard Cummings is unknown.
Young told the Clay Communicator yesterday during a taped interview that he and his 12-year-old son Jacob were behind a trailer on Murder Mountain last week when they heard noises in the woods.
Young reportedly said he spotted Richard Cummings and told his son to run. Cummings then reportedly fired a 12-guage shotgun at Young at least two times, wounding him in the leg.
Authorities charged Young in a shooting incident against Cummings a few weeks ago.
Young had been released from Central Regional Jail on bond.
He has undergone surgery and is expected to get further surgery today.
Warrants for Cummings have yet to be issued by Clay authorities.
