| Diania D. Curtiss Wells, 59, of Parkersburg passed away Sept. 20, 2004, at her home.
She was born April 8, 1945, in Calhoun County, a daughter of Orbert Charles Curtiss of Parkersburg and the late Audra Weres Curtiss. Diania had formerly worked in the dietary department of St. Joseph's Hospital.
Survivors include five brothers, Carl Curtiss and his wife, Jean, of Parkersburg, Noble Curtiss and his wife, Delores, of Massillon, Ohio, Patrick Curtiss of Mineral Wells, Melvin Curtiss and his wife, Penni, of Parkersburg and Frank Curtiss and his wife, Debra, of Hannibal, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Linda Curtis of Parkersburg; a special friend, Kenneth R. Wiegel of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert "Bert" Wells, in 1994; and a brother, Ronald Curtis.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg, with the Rev. Kevin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
