| Virginia E. Ferrell, 80, of Charleston, died Monday, September 20, 2004, at home, after an extended illness.
She was born May 30, 1924, at Tariff, Roane County, a daughter of the late Fitzhugh and Chessie Conley Boggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Forrest Boggs and Steve Boggs; two sisters, Lula Short and Geraldine Roe.
Mrs. Ferrell was a homemaker, former sales associate and a 1943 graduate of Spencer High School.
Survivors include her husband, Camden C. Ferrell of Charleston; a special pet, "C.C."; two brothers, Lee Boggs of Left Hand and Thomas M. Boggs of Dahlonega, GA; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, September 22 at 11 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Leon B. Strickland officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21.
