It was the 50th year for the National Day of Prayer,
according to the Rev. Mary Zimmer. Ministers from
Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center chaplain's
association delivered the prayer service at noon, offering
prayers for national leaders, America and the world.
The group met at the front of the Calhoun County
Courthouse, where hot dogs, drinks and snacks were
shared with the community. Donations went to the food
bank at the First Baptist Church.

Food and fellowship was enjoyed
