| Iva Sampson, 78, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away September 11, 2004 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Dwight and Mary Parsons King. She was retired from Calhoun General Hospital with 13 years service.
Surviving are 5 sons, Burton Sampson of Athens Alabama, Jimmy Sampson of Newberry, Ohio, Ford Sampson of Hagerstown, Maryland, Rick Sampson of Grantsville and James Sampson of Seattle, Washington; 3 daughters, Kathryn Truss of Grantsville, Shirley Cottrell of Warren, Ohio and Linda Vincent of Cortland, Ohio; 2 brothers, Delbert King of Orma and Westfall King of Big Bend; and 27 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles and a daughter, Betsy.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 14 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Kenneth Heiney will officiate. Interment will be in the Cottrell Cemetery on Frozen Run near Orma.
