A Roane County man was pinned under a farm tractor for nine hours Thursday. Leonard Miller, 78, was discovered late Thursday night under the implement, his head pinned under the tractor seat.
Miller had been out moving brush near his residence on Missouri Fork when it turned over on the hillside.
The Spencer-Roane VFD and the Roane County Emergency Squad responded to the accident.
Health Net was unable to fly to the scene because of fog.
He was taken to Charleston General Hospital, where he has been taken out of ICU and moved to a general hospital bed.
A Brohard, Wirt County man was injured in a timber accident earlier this week. Calhoun EMS responded to the accident. |
