A man missing in Clay County has been found dead.
Roy Junior McDaniel, 76, was last seen backing out of his driveway August
7.
A group of church members and residents near Indore scoured the area and found his body in a wooded area less than a mile from his home.
His body has been sent to the Medical
Examiners Office. Foul play is not suspected.
McDaniel's family issued hundreds of fliers and authorities have scoured the
countryside trying to locate the man.
McDaniel was a diabetic with high-blood pressure and arthritis in both knees
and had been recovering from a mild stroke.
Family members said McDaniel is a WWII Marine Corps veteran and suffered
from mild dementia.
