Virgie Duskey, 80 of Cremo, Calhoun County, died Saturday, April 28th. at Minnie Hamilton
Health Care Center, Grantsville.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Lula Adams Slider. She
was a former employee of Rubber Fabricators, Inc. of Grantsville and was a former cook at the
Rowles Run Elementary School. She was a member of the Cremo Community Church.
Surviving are two sons, Boyd Franklin Duskey of Canton, Ohio and Jerry Lee Duskey of
Elizabeth, WV.; two daughters, Virginia Whytsell of Arnoldsburg, and Beverly Ann Carpenter of
Cremo, and a sister Harriett Sturm of Mt. Zion; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd (Jim) Duskey.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville.
Reverend William D. Stutler will officiate. Interment will be in the Wright Cemetery, Cremo.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
