Former Calhoun High School graduate Kevin Lancaster has been named to a
Virginia football conference team.
Lancaster was among seven football players from Newport News' Apprentice
School to be named to the All-Academic Team from the Atlantic Central
Football Conference.
The players achieved a 3.0 grade point average for the fall and spring
semesters to earn the honor.
The Apprentice School in Newport News contributes to the recruiting,
training and development of men and women for careers in shipbuilding.
