Elevator would be added to side of Calhoun courthouse (L to R) Commissioners Sampson, McCallister and Tim Meeks with the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Council
Much needed handicapped access to the county courthouse is being addressed
again by the Calhoun Commission.
An application for a Small Cities Block Grant was submitted yesterday following a
special meeting of the commission.
The proposed four-story elevator would be built inside an annex addition to the side
of the courthouse at a cost of $438,000. The architectural plans for the project have
been completed.
