BOND SET FOR DAVID STARKEY - Circuit Court Conducts Arraignments, Delivers Sentences

Judge Thomas Evans III presided over Calhoun Circuit Court this week, which was held Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kevin Reed was arraigned on charges related to DUI-three counts and is scheduled for a jury trial on November 4. Represented by Shannon Baldwin.

Bond was set at $10,000 for Grantsville resident David Starkey, who was scheduled for a trial on August 17. Starkey is facing charges related to breaking and entering, petit larceny and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering. Represented by Shannon Baldwin.

George Duskey of Annamoriah was arraigned on charges of burglary, breaking and entering and petit larceny. He is scheduled for a trial on August 17. Represented by Shannon Baldwin.

William Bohn of Grantsville appeared before the court relating to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. A plea hearing has been scheduled for August 9. Represented by John Oshoway.

Eric Marks appeared for arraignment related to charges DUI - 3rd offense, with a trial scheduled for November 3. Represented by Shannon Baldwin.

A case against Carolyn Summers related to welfare fraud has been continued to August 9.

Jaden Bell of Charleston appeared for a probation revocation and was sentenced to six months in jail, related to initial charges of breaking and entering an auto. He was represented by Shannon Baldwin.

Linda Hughes appeared for sentencing related to her failure to file as a sexual predator. She was sentenced to five years of unsupervised probation with home confinement conditions and 20 days in Central Regional Jail. She was represented by John Oshoway.

A civil case Henry's Fork Farms vs. estate of Tom Collins was continued.

The court also heard several juvenile cases.
