| Bernice M. Tingler, 57, of Big Springs, W.Va., died June 10, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
She was born in Orma, W.Va., Oct. 14, 1946, a daughter of the late Horace and Leslie Carpenter Roberts.
Bernice is survived by her husband, Joseph Tingler of Big Springs; two sons, Shirley Roberts serving in the army in Hawaii and A. Todd Roberts and his wife, Sharon, of Chloe, W.Va.; one daughter, Brenda Jones and her husband, Bruce, of Kingwood, W.Va.; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Doyle Roberts and his wife, Barbara, of Akron, Ohio.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the Five Forks Community Church in Calhoun County, with Pastor Alfred Hickman officiating. Cremation services were entrusted to Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg
