| William Jacob Johnson, 77 of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away June 8, 2004 at his home.
Born at Grantsville, he was a son of the late Karl and Lula Hayhurst Johnson. He was a US Army veteran of WW II and was retired from General Motors Corporation with 30 years service. He was a graduate of Calhoun County High school, and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church at Grantsville.
Surviving are his brother, Herbert Dale Johnson and his wife Bessie of Berea, Ohio; nieces, Teresa Barkley of Kansas and Dale Cummins of Ohio; step-niece, Arnette Mahaney Creager of Missouri; step-nephews, David Mahaney of Ohio and Perry Mahaney of Texas.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by by a sister, Genevieve Ullery.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Robert Nicholas will officiate. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
