Parents may arrive after 6 p.m. to enjoy the evening with their campers.
Camp is held at the Gilmer County Recreation Center near Glenville.
All youth enrolled in 4-H groups such as 4-H Community Clubs, 4-H Teen Leaders, 4-H Shooting Sports, and 4-H Special Interest groups such as Clover Capers, who are presently in grades 3 and above (meaning the current school year of 2003-2004.) 4-H members at large may also attend.
Camp Cost: The true cost of 4-H Camp is $114 but you will pay only $50. Everyone will receive a scholarship from the 4-H Camp Fund or from USDA Summer Foods. Your 4-H club may also provide you with a scholarship that would reduce your $50 fee.
Registration forms may be obtained at the County Extension Office
Register by May 31,2004 by mailing the gold Registration Form, blue Health History and the white Free/Reduced Lunch, with a $50 check payable to "4-H Camp Fund". Pay in full when your register. If your club is giving you a club scholarship, collect from your club treasurer.
Bring camp clothing, jacket, extra shoes, and personal items such as toothbrush, soap, towels, etc. Bring your own linens (2 twin size sheets work best), pillow, blanket, or just a sleeping bag. Bags are easier for 1st year campers.
Do not bring valuable items such as expensive jewelry, tapes, CD players, games, etc. The camp is not responsible for stolen or lost items. T-shirts advertising tobacco, drugs, alcohol, bars or other disgusting messages will not be permitted during the week.
Limited insurance coverage is included in the camp fee but for major things you should have your own policy.
SPECIAL EVENTS
We will have a daily swim period Monday through Thursday. The cost of swimming is $1 per day. We will have a free camp swim meet on Monday evening.

Camp will furnish 2 pieces of pizza per camper for party. Campers may order additional pizza at registration. Cost approximate $10 per pizza.
