Excerpted From The Minutes
The Calhoun County Board of Education completed the Annual Self-Assessment
Questionnaire and mailed the document to the West Virginia School Board
Association.
Business conducted at Monday evening's meeting.
There were reports from Mr. Cunningham on the April 20, 2004 CGCC meeting,
Mrs. Frederick reported on the April 28, 2004 RESA meeting and
Mrs. Roberts reported on the 2003 Audit.
New business included the approval of out of state transportation request to
"The Wilds" in Cumberland, Ohio, a Lights On! Trip for Trina Beall. There were
other Lights On! proposals.
The School Calendar for 2004-2005 was approved.

1. Robin Lance - Substitute Teacher
2. Patricia Sweeney - Tutor (Lights On)
3. Judy Allison - Substitute Custodian
4. Kevin Boak - Substitute Custodian
5. Colleen Burrows - Substitute Custodian
6. Jeff Carter - Substitute Custodian
7. Doug Dawson - Substitute Custodian
8. Wilbert Kerby - Substitute Custodian
9. Judy Uplinger - Substitute Custodian
10. Rickey Swearengin - Substitute Teacher.
The board approved the paying of Invoices: $228,986.17.
Board members discussed some ways to recognize Congressman Alan Mollohan
for his contributions.
Members present, Ralph Cunningham, Richard Fitzwater, Carlene Frederick,
Donald Harris and Burl Simers.
The next meeting will be held May 17 at Pleasant Hill School.
