KNIFERS ON MON SCHOOL BUSES
West Virginia State Police are investigating a possible stabbing and an alleged assault aboard Monongalia County school
buses.
Five teenage boys between the ages of 14 and 16 are accused of attacking a 16-year-old female on April 23rd.
A week later, a 17-year-old student is accused of stabbing a 16-year-student, both males, in the hand with a pocket
knife.
One 17-year-old University High School student was charged yesterday with unlawful wounding, brandishing a deadly
weapon and possession of deadly weapons on an educational facility.
State Police Trooper Thomas Goodnight said in the one incident, boys held a girl down by her hands, legs and ankles.
Some of the incidents were recorded on videotape.
WVU RECRUIT FACING MURDER CHARGES
A West Virginia University football recruit has been charged with murder.
The recruit, Raymond Williams, has been charged with shooting a teammate in
Cleveland.
Ohio's "Mister Football" and Benedictine teammate John Huddleston were
charged today with murder and aggravated robbery.
Police say the two 18-year-olds were with a third teammate, 16-year-old Lorenzo
Hunter, when Lorenzo allegedly tried to rob a neighbor with a fake gun. The
neighbor, 20-year-old Rodney Roberts, reportedly pulled a real gun, shot
and killed Hunter.
Roberts was charged aggravated murder in Hunter's death.
Police say the decision to charge Williams and Huddleston in the death was
made because they were "at the scene and had some involvement in it."
RALEIGH DEPUTIES HAVE SHOOT OUT
Lieutenant C. T. Darlington of the Raleigh Sheriff's Department says that two
deputies responded to a 1 a.m. report that an Eccles resident was shooting at
motorcycles.
When the deputies knocked at the door of the suspected shooter, a 58-year-old
man came to the door with handguns in each hand and opened fire.
The deputies returned fire and hit the man multiple times.
He was listed in critical condition.
