Tressa O. Cooper Owens, 85, of Parkersburg died April 28, 2004, at her residence.
She was born in Calhoun County, W.Va., the daughter of the late Bruce and Ollie M. Webb Cooper. She worked for the American Viscose Corporation for approximately 10 years.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Bob Magruder of Parkersburg; a son, Bruce F. Owens of Illinois; a son, Earl W. Owens of Point Pleasant, W.Va.; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl E. Owens; two daughters, Sharon Limberger and Trena Jordan; three sisters, Geneva Weaver, Avis Edgell and Dorothy Carpenter; and several grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Bill Angel officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
