What would entice students to come to school on a Saturday? Well, Saturday Fun Day did. Approximately 50 students attended Pleasant Hill Lights On! Saturday Fun Day April 17.
The students pre-registered for their choice of classes which
included, Gifts for Mom, Games and Magic with Science, Recreation,
Illustory, Basket Making, Horseshoes and Bird Houses.
Instructors for the day were, Kim Batten, Mike Batten, Patty Haught,
Terry Hickman, Kristie Ritchie, Angie Sims, and Kelli Whytsell.
Students arrived at 9 a.m. ready for a day of fun. After attending
morning classes a lunch of hot dogs, chips, carrot sticks and dip,
cantaloupe, apples, fruit dip, and water or juice was served to
everyone.
During the afternoon break everyone made their own banana split.
