| The identity of a Smithville woman who was killed Sunday in a one-vehicle wreck has been released.
Carol Finegan, 63, of Smithville was driving east on W.Va. 47 around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, following a box truck.
A silver or light-blue van forced Finegan off the road onto the eastbound berm. Witnesses told police Finegan's vehicle pulled back onto the road, crossed the westbound lane and then struck an embankment.
Finegan's Geo Tracker came to rest on the driver's side and the woman was partially ejected. She was pronounced her dead at the scene.
