The job picture is rosy in West Virginia, with fifty-four counties showing improvement over last month.
The state Bureau of Employment Programs show county unemployment rates are falling across West Virginia.
The economy is booming in Monongalia County with only 3.1% unemployment.
The March statistics show only one county reported an increase in joblessness - Boone.
The job picture is looking up around West Virginia, even in counties that reported double-digit unemployment - Grant,
McDowell, Roane, Wirt, Wetzel, Brooke, Mason, Greenbrier and Ritchie.
Even Calhoun's unemployment rate showed improvement dropping from 16.6% to 15.1%.
Editor's Note: The Hur Herald, in an effort to bring happy and positive news to our readers, has reported these positive
statistics about jobs in West Virginia, although one should keep in mind there are no unemployed people where there are
no jobs in which to be employed, and the government's statistics only count those who are currently getting an unemployment check. Whoops! There we go negative again.
