| Charles "Chuck" Edward Summers, 64, of Waverly passed away on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Frostproof, Fla.
He was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Mount Zion, W.Va. He resided in Waverly, then moved to Frostproof. He worked at BJ Hughes and was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Summers; daughters, Debra Curry of Williamstown and Melinda Pacheco of Galliano, La.; sons, Robert Summers of Springboro, Pa., and Charles Summers of Galliano; one brother, Jack Summers of Loraine, Ohio; one sister, Joan Stull of Grantsville; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oma Summers; his mother, Opal Sturm Summers; one brother, Thomas Barker; and an infant brother.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parkview United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. By his wishes, he was cremated in Frostproof and his ashes will be buried at Herdon Cemetery in Ogden, W.Va.
