Mavoureen E. Harrison, 87, of Parkersburg died April 5, 2004, in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Jerry M. and Mervilla Gay Isenhart Meadows.
She was a member of the South Parkersburg United Methodist Church and retired after 20 years of service to the Wood County Board of Education.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Lockhart and husband, Virgil Jr., of Wedgefield, S.C., and Mary Louise Morgan of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two sons, Robert Harrison and wife, Ann, of Muscatine, Iowa, and Paul Harrison and wife, Terri, of Pasadena, Calif.; one sister, Ruby Meadows Fleak of Washington; two brothers, Ernie Meadows of Parkersburg and Robert Meadows of Washington; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Estle O. Harrison; and two brothers, Leo and Ronzel Meadows.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Carroll L. McCauley officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen North Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to Habitat for Humanity or the American Heart Association.
