Enon Baptist Church paid honor to Tristan Harris and Mike Batten on Sunday, March 28.
The young men were honored for their participation in the AA Regional IV Championship team and their efforts in the State Basketball Tournament.
The Church is very proud of Tristan and Mike and the rest of the team, for making Calhoun County history.
Pastor Harry Siers presented the young men with Bible covers, which included their name, jersey numbers and "AA Section IV Champs," stitched on them. They also received a book and basketball figurine.
Jim Wallace presented the boys with Nerf basketballs, telling them to "practice, practice, practice," in preparation for next year's team!
Enon is also proud of Coach Tim Davis, and his assistants, Tim Moore and Bobby Bailey for the Christian morals they instill in the players.
