Calhoun High School art classes have started a new project - creating face
masks of individual students. The first step is making an original tarlaton mask is
a student's face is covered with plaster gauze, making sure to conform to the
facial features.
It takes about 15 minutes for the plaster to harden. After the mask is removed, it
is filled with plaster of paris and results is a "face" of each student.
