The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources is kicking off a series of public meetings across the state related to hunting regulations.
A meeting is scheduled Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at the Spencer Community Building, Heritage Park.
The meetings are to give hunters, anglers, trappers, landowners and other interested parties an opportunity to review and comment on proposed 2004 hunting regulations for deer and black bear, proposed 2005-2006 general hunting and trapping regulations and proposed 2005 fishing regulations.
Sixteen public meetings are being held across the state.
The first meeting will be held tonight in the Main Lodge at North Bend State Park.
People can arrive at any time, discuss the proposals with wildlife officials and comment on them and any other wildlife-related issue, says the agency.
