Donald M. Pitts, 79 of Grantsville, WV, died Monday, April 9 at Minnie
Hamilton health Care
Center, Grantsville.
Born in Tyler County, he was a son of the late Lorenza G. and Orpha
Doak Pitts. He was retired
from Consolidated Natural Gas Corporation and was a member of Victory
Baptist Church of
Grantsville.
Surviving Mr. Pitts are his wife, Jean Pitts; son, Donald Pitts of
Grantsville and daughter, Robin
Hannah of Parkersburg, WV; a brother, Jack Pitts of Grantsville; two
sisters, Orpha Lee
Blackmer of Florida and Margurite Dykeman of Virginia; five
grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Gladys Pitts.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Victory Baptist
Church, Grantsville. Ministers
Mike Worf and C.W. McDonald will officiate. Interment will be in the
Freeman Cemetery, Crystal
Lake, West Union, WV. Friends may call at Victory Baptist Church from
5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville is in charge of arrangements.
