SEARCH COULD INTENSIFY IF YOUTH NOT FOUND
Authorities are following several leads today regarding the whereabouts of
13-year-old Zach Wease of Five Forks.
Wease is a 7th grade student at Calhoun Middle School.
Wease disappeared from his residence on Road Run, a short distance from Rt. 16
at Five Forks, during the early morning hours of Tuesday.
Authorities have indicated the search could intensify if the youth is not located shortly.
Chief Deputy Sheriff Carl Ballengee said he and other officers and individuals have
been following leads throughout the day, some of them in a remote area near
Nobe.
Authorities have checked to see if the teenager might have gone to the
residences of other family members.
Ballengee said those leads did not prove positive, so far.
Any information regarding the missing youth, contact the Calhoun County
Sheriff's Department or call Calhoun Control: 911.
