| Lear Parsons Weekley, 95, of Akron, formerly of Calhoun, died March 5, 2004 after an extended illness.
She was born in Calhoun County November 21, 1908 to Bailey and Nanny Parsons. She lived in Calhoun until 1955, then resided in Akron where she retired from Akron City Hospital in 1980. She was a member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by sons, Paul (Sandy) of Knoxville, TN; Lowell of Nicut, Bill (Marty) of
Wooster, Ohio; Carroll of Parkersburg; daughter, Sharon (Bill) Hill of Lineboro, MD,
numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Lucy Bailey of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, two sons, Robert
and Loy Weekley, daughter Glenna Pilgrim and a daughter-in-law Janet
Weekley.
Funeral services will be held at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg on
Monday, March 8 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Darrell Mollohan officiating. Burial will be
in Minnora Cemetery.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Sunday. |
