FRIDAY 5:45 PM - Roane County emergency services are responding to a
motorcycle accident on Vandale Fork, off U. S. 33 south of Spencer.
The victim of the accident was over the hill, and rescue workers were lifting him
to the rural road in a rescue basket.
HealthNet was to arrive at the old Clover School to transport the victim to
Charleston Area Medical Center, the extent of his injuries unknown.
The Roane County Emergency Squad was on scene with the Spencer-Roane
Volunteer Fire Department.
