Husband arrested for
malicious wounding

The walls of the home were splattered with blood and a Spencer woman was on the
floor, also covered in blood, when police from three departments responded to a
domestic incident early Tuesday.
Police reported finding Donald Eugene Sampson, 27, sitting in front of his home at 817
Jefferson St. when they answered the call shortly before 2:30 a.m.
Sampson's hands and arms were covered in blood and his face and chest were also
blood-spattered, according to a criminal complaint filed by Cpl. R.H. Eads of the
Spencer Police Dept.
Eads entered the home and saw blood on the walls in the hallway and living room,
where he found Sampson's wife, Susan Sampson, on the floor ... www.thetimesrecord.net
