The Calhoun Board of Education is preparing to submit an application for a state 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, in cooperation with community partners.
The grant application, if successful, would fund after-school programs.
Those programs are currently funded through a federal grant, which is in its final year.
There will be an open meeting at Calhoun Middle/High School, Room A104, on Thursday, March 4, at 4 p.m., to gather ideas and information that will help shape the application.
