| Kim W. Eliassen, 54, of Spencer, West Virginia, was dead on arrival at Roane General Hospital, Spencer, Tuesday, February 10, 2004.
He was born June 28, 1949 in Blue Island, New York, a son of Florence Richards Eliassen, of Spencer and the late Royal Eliassen. He was a former merchant Marine and a Protestant.
In addition to his mother he is survived by four sisters, Lisa Eliassen and Mona Taliaferro both of Manchester, MA, Trina McDonald and Adria Ross both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two brothers, Eric Eliassen of Anchorage, AK and Nils Eliassen of New York City, NY.
The body was cremated and a memorial service was held at the residence on Friday, February 13. John H. Taylor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
