432 POT PLANTS TAKEN AT ROSEDALE - Drug Confiscation Value $790,000

State Police found 432 pot plants at two Rosedale, Gilmer County locations Sunday. "This is probably one of the biggest drug busts in the Braxton County area in quite a few years," said Trooper Mark Yost of the West Virginia State Police. He said the case has been ongoing for two months.

Police said the value of the pot, weapons and cash is about $790,000.

Billy Lee Yost, 46, and Anita Jo Sandy, 37, were arrested early Sunday morning by State Police after and investigation connected them to a drug operation. Police found 144 plants, 14 firearms, marijuana pipes and cash at their residence. Yost and Sandy are being held on $500,000 bond at Central Regional Jail.

Another Rosedale resident, Larry Donald Sandy, 33, has also been arrested after police found 288 marijuana plants and 1.5 pounds of harvested pot. He was also arraigned. All are charged with felony possession, distribution and cultivation of marijuana.
