Willodene Summers Cunningham, 76 of Mt. Zion, died Sunday,
April 1 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville, WV.
Born in Calhoun County she was a daughter of the late Robert E.
Lee and Nancy Coon Summers. She was retired from B.F.
Goodrich Co. and was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist
Church at Mt. Zion.
Surviving are her husband, Lester Cunningham and 5 daughters,
Helen Johnson of Grantsville, Bonnie Johnson of Arnoldsburg,
Jeani Whipkey of Mt. Zion, Betty Deuley of Grantsville and
Charlotte Lawson of Gassaway; 2 sons, Chester Cunningham of
Crossville, TN and Christopher Cunnungham of Bancroft, WV; 22
grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Forrest Stemple
in 1950.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Stump
Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Mike Worf will officiate. Interment
will be in the Stemple Cemetery at Mt. Zion. Friends may call at
the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
