| Gaylord Miller, 91, of Fayetteville died Dec. 11, 2003, in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.
He was born July 20, 1912, in Calhoun County, a son of the late Carey and Sarah Miller. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Orpha Conley Miller, in 1988; one son, Larry Miller; two daughters, Corrine Brightwell and Ruth McCoy; three sisters, Locie, Mabel and Prudie; and two brothers, Raymond and Clay.
He was retired from Union Carbide.
He is survived by one daughter and her husband, Faye and Andreas Andreassen of San Jose, Calif.; sons-in-law, John Brightwell of Newark, Del., Haze McCoy of Parkersburg; two sisters, Maycel Rhodes of Barberton, Ohio, Emogene Rhodes of Statesville, N.C.; two brothers, Okey Miller of Newton, Albert Miller of Orrville, Ohio; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Brian Harrell officiating. Burial will be in Clover Cemetery.
