ALL WV CIRCUIT-MAGISTRATES COURTS WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY

(07/02/2012)

The WV Supreme Court has ordered the closing of all courts in West Virginia on Monday, due to the weather emergency caused by a storm on Friday, according to a news release.

Calhoun Circuit court was to have been in session Monday.

Magistrates are advised to continue their regular on-call rotations.

However, all circuit clerk and magistrate clerk offices will be closed. Other than on-call magistrates, court employees are not to report to work Monday.

The justices and other essential personnel will continue to assess the situation from Supreme Court offices.
