| WASH-WAX-DETAIL FUNDRAISER - The SkillsUSA club at Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center will be washing, waxing, and detailing automobiles for a fundraiser to send students to Skills competition for the upcoming year. TRUCKLOAD FROZEN FOOD SALE - Twice a year, the Calhoun County Extension Office, in conjunction with its Volunteer Leaders Association and 4-H clubs, promotes a “Truckload Frozen Food Sale”. Examples of items for sale are: Blueberries 10 pounds for $27, Mixed Vegetables 15 pounds for $25, Chocolate Pie Slices 24 slices for $13, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough 3 pound box (buy one get one free) for $9, Sugar Cookie Dough 2 pound 7 oz. tub (buy one get one free) for $9.90, and much, much more to choose from!

WIRT COUNTY FFA BBQ - The Wirt County Future Farmers of America will have a Beef BBQ Sunday, October 3rd at Wirt County High School cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funds raised will go to pay kids way to the national FFA convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.
